It was opened in 2007 by the Las Vegas Sands Company and was modelled on the Venetian Las Vegas, which is its sister luxury casino resort. North serves traditional dishes from the Dongbei and Sichuan regions of China that are prepared in the show kitchen that is in the middle of the restaurant. Featured dishes include Poached Fish Fillet in a spicy vegetable broth, Crispy Bejing style Sweet and Sour Prawns, “Lan Zhou” style braised beef “La Mian” noodles and Steamed Dumplings.
