Online Casinos and Sports Betting Licensed by Estonia’s EMTA

The Estonian gambling license was introduced in 2010 after updates to the Gambling Act, legalizing and regulating online gambling in the country. Since 2011, Estonia has opened its market to foreign operators, provided they obtain a local license.

You can check the legality of an online casino on the official website of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board: emta.ee. There you’ll find a list of all operators with valid licenses. Also, on the casino’s website in the footer, there should be the EMTA license logo; clicking on it will reveal the license status — valid, suspended, or revoked.
