The Flamingo Casino Las Vegas is the only remaining casino that was a hub of activity back in the glory days of the “Rat Pack”. It has been featured in numerous movies including the 1960 release of Ocean's 11, Viva Las Vegas and Bugsy. The Flamingo Casino Hotel is an iconic destination due to its rich history and presence on the Las Vegas Strip since it opened in December 1946. It was the first luxury hotel and the third resort hotel to open on the Strip. Over the years it has undergone many transformations and was known as The Fabulous Flamingo from 1947 until 1974 when it became The Flamingo Hilton. In 2000 it was renamed Flamingo Las Vegas and is currently a part of the Caesars Entertainment Corporation.
